Boise Brick House

What is the Boise Brick House?

The Boise Brick House(BBH) is a teen-driven after school drop-in center for relaxation with friends, homework, free food, fun activities, and empowering conversations about mental wellness. The Boise Brick House started in November 2021 and welcomes high school participants from across the Treasure Valley area. Our drop-in center is located in Families and Youth of Idaho’s office and is a 1940s home in Boise. The drop-in center consists of a retro kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a club meeting room, a back patio, a front yard, and downstairs hang out room. The Boise Brick House is operated by FYIdaho staff and trained Teen Volunteers. We are a safe place for teens to gather with their peers to build connections and decompress. We seek to nourish teens’ brains and bodies by providing healthy snacks and meals for free, and providing a place to study and learn new skills. Teens are encouraged to host study groups and student club meetings at the Boise Brick House. Teen participants are welcome to attend our regularly planned activities, and events put on by community partners or FYIdaho Teen Leaders.

Where is BBH Located?

The Boise Brick House is located at the Families and Youth of Idaho office in the North End of Boise at the corner of 7th and Franklin. We are within walking distance of Boise High School and North Junior High School. Our address is 704 N 7th Street Boise, ID 83702.

When is it Open?
