Children's Mental Health Awareness Week is held every year during the first week of May (National Mental Health Awareness Month) -- is a national campaign that raises awareness and funds to promote better mental health for children.
PhotoVoice is a method of research where participants develop prompts and take photographs to represent their responses to the prompts. With support from students at the College of Idaho, FYIdaho teens developed prompts about youth mental health. Teens across Idaho submitted photos.
The Boise Brick House is hosting a PhotoVoice gallery on Tuesday, May 11th between 2:45-5:30pm. Teens, families, teachers, and community partners are invited to appreciate their art! Flying M cookies and Lemon Tree lemonade will be provided. 🙂
