FYI Parent Support Groups

What are the FYI Parent Support Groups?

The FYIdaho Parents Support Groups are a virtual space for parents/caregivers to come together to provide peer emotional support to one another. Groups are established around parent interests and topics parents bring up on the Family Support Line. An FYIdaho staff member is always present to add structure to the conversation, but parents/caregivers provide the topics and resources they would like to share. Parents/caregivers can expect to meet others who share similar experiences and to find comfort in meeting others who understand their challenging journey.

Noon Coffee Chat: Feedback and Support

Parents and caregivers discuss their experiences with the YES (Youth Empowerment Services) and find support for challenges they are facing. Parent/caregiver voice is valued!

Join other parents on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12 PM MST.

Afternoon Caregivers’ Support Group

FYIdaho staff member Rochelle Bettis will facilitate a discussion among parent peers to help you manage the stresses of what can be an isolating journey at times. Also for parents and caregivers who need support as their child transitions to residential care or back to home.

Join other parents on the 1st Thursday of the month at 12 PM MST.
