FYI Parent Support Groups

What are the FYI Parent Support Groups?

The FYIdaho Parents Support Groups are a virtual space for parents/caregivers to come together to provide peer emotional support to one another. Groups are established around parent interests and topics parents bring up on the Family Support Line. An FYIdaho staff member is always present to add structure to the conversation, but parents/caregivers provide the topics and resources they would like to share. Parents/caregivers can expect to meet others who share similar experiences and to find comfort in meeting others who understand their challenging journey.

Participants communicate throughout the week via the various chat channels on the serve and meet via voice channel once a week to discuss mental health topics, do check-ins, and play games.
